It gets lonely in the desert. She heard the wind but no wind chimes. She saw no road and she saw no end. Just the end of times…
She waited for the never ending sand to end but there is no end to the sand. Her footsteps disappeared with each step. Her steps ceased to exist with each footstep. Only her and the sun but she couldn’t look at the sun. She could only look at the sand.
Sand…
There is only sand. “What’s there to collect?” she asked the sand. She waited for a response as if the sand could talk. She walked until she could not walk. She lied down in the sand with her eyes closed so she could look at the sun. “There is nothing here but calm” she said. And calm is what she collected.
